Why should people go to college?

Everyone always has at least one hope for them to have a better life. That is the reason today I start this semester at GGC. People have a better life after they graduate from colleges. I am taking three courses at this time, which are EAP 90, EAP 91 and Math1113. I am hoping to have good grades in those three classes. To reach my goal, I need to organize my schedule and make good decisions; in addition, I also need to work hard and study more.

First, I need to focus on organizing my schedule because I have a job to support my income while I go to college. If I only spend a lot of time to work and only spend a little bit of time for studying; which is a big problem. It is the reason that I need to make my schedule perfect to pay attention to my studies and prepare everything before I go to class. For example, the student who have a job. They should work a part time job because if they work a full-time job then they don’t have enough time for studying, and it will make your brain to feel tire after work.
Second, I should make a good decision about my major because if I
don’t make a good decision, I will waste my time and money. I may take the
wrong classes for my major. The best way to find my major is going to websites
to take a test that you will see which major bests fit my skill and more
interesting. After I am done, the result of the test can show which major will
suit me best. For example, after I done with a test online, it shows me the
result which I may interesting about the machines, IT or engineer. Then I take
an engineer major.
Finally, I need to work harder and study more. For example, I can study
in a group with my classmates because when I study with my friend I can
feel free can ask many things with them. Moreover, I can go to the AEC or
library for help doing my homework. For each semester, I like to spend a lot of
time to work with a tutor at AEC at my college. My tutor will help me find all
mistake in my homework or assignments and help me redone them.
In conclusion, anyone who wants to get a better job for them needs to go to school. At school, I can learn many things. After that, I can get a better life by getting a job working with laser machines in manufacturing. Three things I will focus on to get better grades are making a schedule, choosing a major, and spending more time studying.

I like your topic. I know you have many things to do but try your best. You always have your friends, families side-by-side. Don't give up!!

People need to have more knowledge, understanding in live to be able to be in a better place. Like going to college to study and to make more money to take care of our self and family.

ReplyDeleteYour topic is really interesting. There are different reasons why people decide study or not; money, time, benefits, family, and even more, but those are all important variables.
The best decision to choose your major is trying see what do you enjoy to do? When you choose something you really are passioned, you are going to enjoy to do for the rest of your life. Money is really important in this decision. However, enjoy your job is something that does not have a price.
